Now deep into our FIFTH YEAR, Sex Dwarf has become Philly's Premier Nonstop New Wave Dance Party! In fact the Philadelphia City Paper, in their 2005 Choice Awards, named Sex Dwarf as the Best DJ Night to Get New Wave Nostalgic At:
 Maybe only a handful of you remember Old City's Club Revival during the late '80s/early '90s. DJs Robert Drake (of WXPN fame) and Pussy Galore resurrect the vibe by mixing up The Cure, Siouxsie, Love & Rockets, Bauhaus and almost always a little Joy Division. Sex Dwarf was once held every last Tuesday of the month, but the party became so damn good, Fluid nightclub moved the night to third Friday of every month! - Philadelphia City Paper
In 2006, the readers spoke out and voted Sex Dwarf the BEST DANCE PARTY IN PHILLY, proclaiming "Five hours of sweaty fun spun by the best DJ in town" and also awarded me BEST LOCAL DJ, saying that "This dude has resurrected the authentic new wave culture singlehandedly in Philly."
Additionally, the CP editors gave props out to both Land of the Lost and Q'zine; the two programs I host on WXPN.
